I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday and my keyboard stopped working. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and the keyboard is built in to the laptop so I can't just unplug the keyboard and plug it back in, it's not a wired device. Yesterday the keyboard was partially functional. Some of the keys were not functioning but others were. I checked my drivers and it said my keyboard was installed and already up-to-date. I thought maybe Windows released an update that would fix the issue so I ran Windows Update, installed the updates and shut down my laptop, then went to bed. Today, I started my laptop and the keyboard was completely non-functional.
No keys are responsive at all. I checked my drivers again and this time my keyboard drivers have a warning symbol next to them and it tells me Windows could not load the drivers because they are missing or corrupt. I looked on Toshiba's website to see if I could download and reinstall the drivers but I couldn't find the drivers I was looking for. I've included pictures of the drivers' statuses in my Device Manager. I'd really like this resolved because using the on-screen keyboard is a pain.

Downloading the Toshiba Function Key and running it worked for me too. I had previously upgraded my Satellite C675-S7200 to Windows 10 and the keyboard was not working (I had to keep FN pressed to make the other keys work). My Satellite is not included in the list of supported models for Windows 10 upgrade (but with this keyboard driver fix it works great with Windows 10.
SalE, I'm having this exact same issue (can't type certain keys without holding down FN) with this exact same model (Satellite C675-S7200). What keyboard driver fix did you install? I tried the link posted above by Steve324, but that goes to a support page for a different Toshiba model. If I go to the support page for C675-S7200, they do not have Windows 10 in the choice list.
I've selected each one of the other O/S choices in the drop-down one by one, but none of them have any keyboard drivers posted. Where did you get an updated keyboard driver? Thanks for your help! Where did you get an updated keyboard driver? Thanks for your help! Scopey, it has been a while since I did this so I am not certain now how I did it. I searched the Toshiba website and could not duplicate what I did. I searched my downloads and found the Toshiba Function Key driver (TC30594700C). I am not positive now that is what I installed. Try to search for that driver and see if that does the trick.
Maybe this Toshiba FAQ will help Good luck! So much frustration over this, but after much perseverance, and lots of Googling, and wondering if I could afford repairs - or a new laptop even - my keyboard (Toshiba Satellite L775-S7340 - 6yrs old) is now functioning correctly. The culprit, as others have discovered, was the (unrequested) installation of Synaptics (Lenovo) pointing device, the icon for which appeared in the toolbox subsequent to the Windows 10 update on 16th March, 2017. As for getting rid - difficult.
Unfortunately it wasn't listed in my favourite uninstaller software, Revo, so I messed about in the registry and Programmes, finally using Windows uninstaller when it appeared there - not under Lenovo, but Synaptics. So, it had nothing to do with drivers needing to be updated, on the contrary, it must have been Synaptics own driver/s interfering.
Incidentally, though I don't think it is really relevant, the only keys which stopped functioning were digits 1 to 4, and the spacebar. The Keypad wasn't affected.

I do hope this will be of help.
